Practise safely on the dev site
A copy of the platform where nothing you do matters, plus demo accounts.

There are two copies of the platform. The live one at vetsage.net holds real people and real records. The practice one at dev.vetsage.net is a separate copy with its own database — you can delete a course, reset somebody, or click every button on it and nothing happens to the real clinic.
If you're about to try something you're unsure of, do it on dev first.

There are no passwords — anywhere
Nobody has a password on either site. You enter a mobile number or an email address, we send a 6-digit code plus a link you can tap, and that signs you in. That's the whole mechanism, which is why there's no password to reset and nothing for staff to forget.
On the dev site there's one difference that makes practising easy: the code is printed on the screen as soon as you ask for it, so you don't have to wait for an email or a text. Sign in as anyone, instantly.
Demo accounts
Three accounts exist on dev purely for practice. They are not real people, they receive no mail, and they do not exist on the live site.
There is no password. Type the full address below into the sign-in box at dev.vetsage.net, press the button, and the 6-digit code appears on the screen — copy it into the code box.

A useful first hour
- Sign in to dev.vetsage.net as demo-newhire and take the baseline assessment the way a new hire would. Skip a few questions on purpose and watch what the path does.
- Sign out, sign in as demo-admin, and find that person on People → Team.
- Open Content → Authoring, pick a course, and change a lesson. Read it back as a learner.
- Write one question, then approve it in Content → Needs review so you've seen the gate work.
- Reset demo-newhire's training and watch them go back to the start.
